Game Design Course

There are hundreds of thousands of gamers in the UK alone, for some, gaming isn’t just a pastime, it’s even more than a hobby, it’s pretty much life, and when you live and breath gaming it’s obvious that a career in games design would be the right step to make. The problem with this, however, is that not many people realize that there are specialised courses out there that are designed for people who want to be a games designer. Most Universities nowadays do not offer courses in games designer, and instead offer students courses such as computer science, not something that appeals to people as much as a direct course in games design, and on top of this there’s the heavy expense and inconvenience that comes with attending University too.

Well if you’ve ever had an idea for a game, or even been playing a game and noticed faults or played a section you thought you could have done better, then you’re already on your way. Games designers are responsible for creating the background story in a game, as well as the actual game mechanics, and the overall look and feel of the game, not to mention the game levels design, characters and pretty much anything you might need to know about the game.
